I am Lotte Keularts (she/her), a photographer based in Heerlen. Despite spending my weekdays in an office working in finance, confined to the digital glow of a computer screen, my heart yearns to escape into the tangible world whenever possible. Photography, for me, is the ideal way to break free from the digital monotony. It calls me to step outside and embrace the present moment, urging me to observe even the tiniest details that often go unnoticed in the hustle of everyday life.

Looking through the lens is a transformative experience, offering a different perspective on the world around me. Whether wandering through distant city streets, documenting the energy of a protest or engaging in an intimate one-on-one session during portrait photography, my lens becomes a storyteller. In these moments, I seek to find the perfect angle to immortalize a shadow’s dance or the glint in the eyes of a person walking by.

Photography, for me, is not just a creative outlet but a way of being fully present and engaged with the world. Through my lens, I want to capture moments that go beyond time, inviting you to see the world through my eyes. Each frame tells a story of the beauty in simplicity and the magic of black and white.
